On November 6, 2024, members of the Fort Peck Fine Arts Council had the honor of attending the 25th Anniversary Dinner for the Valley County Community Foundation. This esteemed foundation has graciously provided 193 grants, amounting to over $436,000, to various non-profit organizations, schools, and governmental entities in Valley County, MT since the year 2000. The Fort Peck Fine Arts Council has been fortunate to be the recipient of 12 of these grants, totaling $19,295, which have played a pivotal role in supporting improvements to the Theatre infrastructure and enhancing Theatrical programs from 2002 to 2024. The VCCF's grant initiative is sustained by proceeds from their endowment with the Montana
Community Foundation. They generously allocate grants in five key areas: arts & culture, basic human needs, economic development, education, and natural resources & conservation. It is imperative to extend support and contributions to our community foundations to safeguard and enrich the well-being and vibrancy of our community.
