What is the Winter Reading?
Every Year in mid December the Fort Peck Summer Theatre hosts a "Winter Reading". At this event, a small group of actors will read through a short story or play. Due to the Fort Peck Theatre not being heated, events hosted in mid December tend to be a bit chilly for our taste. Therefore this event takes place in a variety of suitable locations in Glasgow MT.

It’s time for FPST’s much anticipated annual winter reading performance!
Pam L. Veis and Andy Meyers, along with a host of special guests, star in this collection of mystery, poetry and suspense paying tribute to Edgar Allan Poe and his influential work. This performance of riddles, conundrums and musical intervals is certain to entertain audiences of all ages, while raising a few goosebumps and superstitious tension celebrating the historic Fort Peck Hotel.
