SOUVENIR

August 25 – September 3

 Director:  Andy Meyers

Souvenir is the inspiring story of Florence Foster Jenkins, (the ‘world’s worst singer’) and her dedicated accompanist Cosme McMoon.  Their bizarre partnership yielded hilariously off-key recitals that became the talk of New York and earned them cultish fame. The play culminates in a sold-out performance at Carnegie Hall in 1944.  The recent award winning film adaption stars Meryl Streep as Florence.
