Andy Meyer is a proud native of Missoula, Montana. He is a graduate of Wagner College in NYC and the Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Boston, and recently earned his Masters in Musical Theatre from The University of Montana, where he performed as Berger in HAIR and Barfee in THE 25th ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE.
His professional credits as an actor include the National Tours of ANNIE and BUS STOP, as well as starring Off-Broadway as Dick in the 35th Anniversary revival of DAMES AT SEA and Uncle Gard in CIRCLE OF FRIENDS. Andy has directed and performed at theatres across the country, including the Tony Award winning McCarter, Papermill, Arizona Broadway and Luna Stage, in roles ranging from Judas in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR to Yvan in ART to Malcolm in THE FULL MONTY.
Here in Montana, Andy has had the pleasure of growing up in the Missoula Children’s Theatre programs, and has worked with Port Polson Players, Fort Missoula Theatre Company, Old Prison Players in Deerlodge, My Pal Peggy Puppets and many seasons at Bigfork Summer Playhouse. In Bigfork his directing and/or choreograph work includes TOMFOOLERY, SHOUT, SMOKEY JOE’S CAFÉ and several Benefit Revues.
This past summer at Fort Peck Summer Theatre, Andy directed "All Shook Up" and Choreographed "Gypsy" and "Willie Wonka"! Thank you, Andy, for a great season and for bringing so many talented individuals to Fort Peck.
