With each passing year, the Fort Peck Theatre becomes a greater treasure to life on Montana's prairie. Weathered by over 75 years of snowstorms, rain, hail, howling winds,and sunshine it takes lots of upkeep. This is possible in large part by the Fort Peck Theatre Preservation Foundation. Earnings have helped install a fire exit in the basement, improved outside lighting and fresh paint to the exterior. Handicapped accessible restrooms are now available thanks to funds contributed from the Foundation. Each donation improves the quality of the Fort Peck Theatre, a Montana cultural treasure. The Fort Peck Theatre Preservation Foundation is a permanent endowment dedicated to caring for the theatre building and grounds, the principal is invested in perpetuity and earnings help to make the property safe, accessible and beautiful. The endowment is invested with the Montana Community Foundation, 101 North Last Chance, Suite 211, Gulch, Helena, Montana 59601.
